North Dakota State PIRC is a statewide Parental Information Resource Center funded by the US Department of Education. The U.S. Department of Education created the Parental Information Resource Center (PIRC) program to provide parents, schools and community organizations with information and assistance to understand how children develop and what they need to succeed in school. The PIRC works closely with parents, educators and community organizations to strengthen partnerships so that children can reach high academic standards through parent involvement.
